The Instructors
The certification training classes are conducted by Ralph Lauren
Paint Specialists who have numerous years of experience in the
paint industry and with the Ralph Lauren Paint Program.
What You Will Learn
Each certification session consists of a maximum class size
of six painters. This allows everyone to receive individualized
instruction and hands-on training with the signature Ralph Lauren
Faux Techniques; Antiqued Leather, Indigo Denim, Bright Canvas,
Natural Linen and traditional faux techniques; sponging, ragging,
colorwashing and aging. You will also learn application techniques
for Ralph Lauren’s out of the can Specialty finishes:
River Rock, Suede and Regent Metallics. We will also discuss
our world-class broadwall finishes and the innovative designer
color collections.
Certification Process
At the end of the training session, you will be tested and your
work will be reviewed. Within two weeks after the certification
class, you will receive notification of whether you have passed
the certification requirements. Painters not meeting the application
standards will be able to retry two additional times at a later
certification session at no charge. If the painter chooses not
to retry, he or she will be refunded half of the program fee.
Certification Fee
Each session costs $1,000 per painter or $850 each for painters
attending from the same company. Ralph Lauren Professional Certification
is designed to certify individual painters. Entire painting
firms will not receive a blanket certification.
